AAYAM 2018
Aayam is an annual national tech-fest where students get exposure to their practical
skills and innovative idea along with their leadership quality. As name
suggested, just like every year, few technical events like RC Car, Town O
Planning & Relay coding had added new dimension to technical event. This year
entire tech-fest was managed by team of students only. Event like Robotics,
Bascule Bridge, Pirate Battle, Circuitronics, Model and Poster Presentation,
Auto Cad, Dam O Mania, Switch Maze and Code war had huge participation from
various colleges of Gujarat. We were lucky to have Mr. Utpal Mistry, CEO &
Co-Founder, LEXUS SOFTMAC as a chief guest on opening ceremony. He gave
inspiration speech to students. His success story was really inspirational to
one who wants to begin start up activity. Smart city model was presented by
students which was theme of tech-fest. The Robo race track was designed smartly
with lots of mechanical and electronics hurdles. Robo soccer event had around
15 team participation. Our civil engineer showed their skills in events like
Dam O Mania, Town Planning and Bascule Bridge. In Dam O Mania, students were
asked to prepare model of dam to measure non leakage against water filling
inside dam. Students showcase their talent of building bridge in Bascule Bridge.
Pirate battle event had around 25 teams’ registration and in that students were
asked to prepare boat model which can survive with maximum load inside water
pool. The conventional poster and model presentation was also very good.
Students of Electronics & communication and electrical branch showed their
expertise in circuitronix event by debugging hardware issues in circuits. Code
war and Relay coding event had tested coding efficiency of students of computer
branch. In prize distribution ceremony, all sponsors were felicitated without
whom event could not be possible. The entire venue was decorated with
innovative ideas. BMEF management supported this event very well and hence the
event became grand success.
Entire
team, functional and executive members, coordinate very well under the guidance
of directors and principal to make event successful.
