When their competence is challenged the students of Aeronautical Engineering, of BAIT respond to the work environment very efficiently which makes this college proud and best engineering college.

“Aeronautical Engineering is the science involved with the study, design, and manufacture of flight-capable machines, or the techniques of operating aircraft. “ It has two major overlapping branches like Aeronautical Engineering and Astronautical Engineering.  Aeronautical Engineers design primarily aircraft, spacecraft, satellites & missiles. In addition, they create and test prototypes to make sure that they function according to design.

Aeronautical Engineers may develop new technologies for use in aviation defense systems and space craft. Aeronautical Engineers develop and design some extraordinary technologies such as : supersonic jets, helicopters, space shuttles, satellites and rockets whereas Astronautical Engineers mainly works with science and technology of space craft and how they perform inside and outside the Earth’s atmosphere. This includes work on small and traditional large satellites, cube sats.

In Aeronautical Engineering, Engineers have to work with other professionals involved in designing and building craft, space craft and their components. Therefore, they have to be ready to communicate well, divide work into manageable tasks and work with others toward a standard goal. Work schedule of Aeronautical Engineers is usually full time. Engineers who direct projects must often work extra hours to observe progress, to make sure that design meets requirements, to examine how to measure aircraft performance, to see that production meets design standards, to participate in test flights and first flights and to ensure that deadlines are met.

The future of Aeronautical Engineer is very bright. Aeronautical Engineering graduates have knowledge of aerospace materials, aerodynamics, flight mechanics, and stability and control.  In India Aeronautical Engineers mostly employed by
•    ISRO (Indian Research Organization)
•    The Defense Minisuly
•    Civil Aviation Department
•    DRDO ( Defense Research and Development Laboratories )
•    Hindustan Aeronautics Limited

There are so many job opportunities for Aeronautical Engineers in USA, UK, Germany, France. In starting they placed as junior engineers. After that according to their work performance, aptitude and academic results they are placed as assistant aircraft engineers. They have to clear departmental examinations for further promotions.

There are some qualities like analytical skills, business skills, critical thinking skills, Math skills, Problem-solving skills, writing skills are important for Aeronautical Engineers. Students of this institute are able to excel in all dimensions of life. In BAIT, they provide a complete package to students to develop into full-fledged engineer with sound technical knowledge, social values and leadership qualities which makes this college best engineering college and this is the main reason to be a part of this institute and course.
