How can students pass graduation successfully?

Image
Graduating from a four-year college in four years may sound like a fairy straightforward venture, but only 41% of students manage do it. As time passes, the progress from secondary school to college may just traverse a couple of months yet the enormous scaffold in which the world begins expecting more grown-ups, less child can be a shaky one. To cross that extension effectively, it's not generally about remembering realities, writing papers, and meeting due dates. It's about the additional items—the mentality and procedures which will help students to explore, engage and excel. Here are the most effective tactics that fresher can use to successfully pass graduation. 1)    Prioritization: The most important skill you will need to successfully pass graduation in college is prioritization. That skill develops when you can organize according to what’s coming next month, next week, tomorrow, in 10 minutes. You cannot afford to stay unorganized. If students don’t prepar...

Experiential learning brings out the best in student

Image
There is an old adage which sums up experiential learning perfectly. “I hear & I forget I see and I remember I do & I understand.”   Wikipedia defines experiential learning as:” the process of learning through experience. “In experiential learning student engagement increases. It accelerates learning and it improves retention. It also enhancesstudent’s knowledge and skills. The act of doing makes learning extremely personal. Here are the reasons why experiential learning is the future learning. 1)    Experiential learning increases the effectiveness of learning. Students engage in critical thinking, acquire problem solving skills and engage in decision making. 2)    It provides a safe learning environment. It is natural that mistakes happen during the process of learning. But students learn through it, face it and it will brings out the best in students. 3)    It will bridge the gap between theory and practi...

THREE DIMENSIONAL OBJECT RECONSTRUCTION FOR ROBOTICS

Image
3D Measurements is still being a great challenge. Although a lot of research is involved in stereovision systems, most of the geometrical problems can be minimised when the system is used for industrial applications. Moreover, light control can be achieved allowing better segmentation results. The Robotics and Computer Vision Group at the University of Girona is involved in 3D Measurement developing systems for either research or industrial applications. Coded structured light is based on the projection of a light pattern that has been previously coded in order to solve the correspondence problem. Then, this light pattern is projected onto a scene and the captured by a camera. Linear a nonlinear calibration are used to model the camera and the pattern projector. Triangulation is applied to obtain 3D reconstruction of the scene and a single pattern projection allows the system to measure moving objects. Some application of this technique has been tested in an underwater robot as we d...

Cognitive Radio Science

Image
The idea of cognitive radio was first given by the Joseph Mitola and Gerald Q. Maguire in 1999. Cognitive radio is Software Defined Radio (SDR) or Dynamic Spectrum Access (DSA) a technology where radios detect white space in spectrum and access based on the priority of users. Cognitive radio is one of the new long term as well as good performance development take place in radio communication technology. Cognitive radio minimizes the spectral congestion. Cognitive radio works most effectively works in communication system. Cognitive radio able to perform task of the spectrum, detect frequencies and adjust the parameters according to modern signal processing techniques, according to the definition of cognitive radio. Cognitive radio allows the sharing of spectrum much more efficiently and used spectrum dynamically and intelligently. Cognitive radio can manage spectrum themselves without human intervention. I.      COGNITIVE RADIO CRs are highly agile wireless...
